Coming soon…

3-weeks-new Baby Kian | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Meet Baby Kian at 3 weeks new.

This newborn session turned out to be one of the last sessions I would do in Auckland for a long time and the very last session from my studio in Blockhouse Bay. The past few weeks have been hectic, stressful and left me on an emotional roller coaster saying our goodbyes to family, friends and my very much loved clients. As only few days are left for our family in Auckland before we jet off on an exciting new adventure, I’ve been busy packing up our lives in a 20 ft container and wrapping up client orders and galleries. Coming back to edit this session has left me with a wonderful feeling all over in knowing that no matter where life takes me, my passion for photography and capturing the sweetness of new life will always be with me.

Kian, you were an absolute pleasure to photograph!! That creamy skin, head full of lush dark hair and the most AH-mazing long dark lashes had me completely rapt! I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to finish off my last newborn session in Auckland!

Thank you Negar and Paarsa for choosing me to photograph you gorgeous son. Enjoy you sneak peek!

Having my baby fall asleep in my arms takes away all of my worries and stresses.

A sense of complete and total peace comes over me.

~Maria Jose Ovalle

Goodbye Auckland | Nazia Chand Photography

A little part of me knew this day would come but now that it’s here, it all seems a little surreal. After lots of yays and nays, hubby and I set a date and have taken this massive decision to relocate our family to Melbourne. Saying goodbye to Auckland and all my lovely clients is difficult. Through my work I’ve met people who have somehow shaped my journey as a photographer and as a person. Seeing all these families, fondly called “my families”, grow from expectant couple to family of two, three and four. Getting my newborn cuddles and seeing them grow to sit up and walk. It’s all been part of my wonderful journey doing a job that I love with all my heart. It’s been a huge part of my life! Thank you so much Auckland for all you’ve been. I’m emotional, scared but at the same time super excited for this brand new adventure!!
I hope to continue my  journey as a photographer when I get to Melbourne and I hope to meet people that can give me the same love I received from you all here in Auckland.
I’ll be finishing up all my current orders as per normal and am no longer taking any new bookings for 2015. I will still have family here and will return so keep an eye out on my Facebook page for available dates for Auckland sessions. I may have a few openings in April, although yet to be confirmed.
To all my current and past clients: as I’m only relocating my business, your files will always be available for new orders and purchases. You can easily get in touch via my Facebook page and my website.
Much love

6-week-old Baby Sophia | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Happy endings are just beautiful and more so when your dreams come true, your love keeps you strong and your prayers are answered. Meet little baby Sophia at 6 weeks old. This little beauty was actually 6 weeks early and had just spent the first 5 weeks of her little life in PICU at Auckland Hospital. We, without having been through anything like that ourselves can only imagine what her family must have gone through. Baby Sophia gave her parents the most precious surprise by becoming strong enough to come home just in time for Christmas! She was accompanied to her newborn session by her proud older siblings, Sebastian, Amelia and Imogen. Looking at all four of them, I was certain they have been blessed with quadruple the dose of good-looking genes!! Thank you so much Anna and Cameron for choosing me to photograph your precious little Sophia! It was truly an honour to meet your little fighter! xx

6-day-old Baby Parker| Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Having older siblings at a newborn session is always fun yet challenging. Meet sweet little Parker at 6 days new and his older brother Lucas. They have to be one of the easiest little boys I have come across in my journey as a newborn photographer. Here’s a little peek into baby Parker’s newborn session and believe me when I say it was filled with tons of love, gorgeous looking genes and utterly adorable smiles!

Thank you Charlotte and Jason for choosing me to capture your beautiful family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Serena | Melbourne Family Photographer

This gorgeous family hail all the way from sunny Thursday Island, Queensland and I was absolutely excited to be shooting Serena’s beautiful kids once again. All my clients are absolutely awesome but some just stand out and end up being good friends! Something like that happened with Serena. She is a stunning women, a beautiful person inside and an absolutely amazing mum with the patience of a saint!! Being on holiday with three kids alone aaaaaand lugging them to a photo session on one of the windiest, rainy day of our summer is no easy feat!

We had the most fabulous time at the beach with her beautiful children and here’s a little peak for you all to enjoy!

Thank you so much Serena for choosing me once again as your photographer and for being such an amazing person! xx
